PNP 7 is a specially formulated preparation containing alcoholic extracts of food herbs and spices. The presence of these nutrients in cells have in several independent viral laboratory studies stopped intracellular replication of HIV for 24 hours after a single 60 minute exposure to PNP 7. In other independent laboratory studies components of PNP 7 have shown cellular activity against a wide range of AIDS related conditions. These findings have been supported by recently published scientific work where researchers have used a similar class of compound with similar results. In our early pilot human studies there was a rapid improvement in oral and gut AIDS related conditions and in general feelings of well being amongst trial participants.
PNP 7 is well tolerated by both healthy subjects and people living with HIV. The two side effects noted were a slight dryness of the eyes and mild euphoria. PNP 7 is a mixture of herb and spice extracts that have been used as foods for centuries and is essentially non toxic. All the ingredients in PNP 7 are generally classified as foods and PNP 7 is not a drug.
Although the mode of action of PNP 7 is not fully understood, it would seem to have effect at two levels. At one level, it is used as nutrients in cellular pathways. The presence of PNP 7 in these pathways (based on laboratory studies) appears to allow cells to resist entry of HIV and also the budding of virus particles from an infected cell. At another level(based on laboratory studies and published data) it is able to disrupt the virus glycoprotein coat which makes the virus unable to infect clean cells. This effect also seems to apply to a range of AIDS related viruses. Components of PNP 7 have direct activity against a wide range of AIDS related bacteria and fungi and also assist cells in resisting infection. The last 3 effects are observed in Laboratory studies and Peak makes no claim for these effects occurring in the body.
PNP 7 is intended to be taken orally but may be absorbed through the skin or by breathing in the vapours. For people living with HIV who have major lung and throat problems the oral or vapour route is recommended as the active ingredients seem to have a major prophylactic effect on AIDS related conditions which proliferate in the lungs and mouth(Based on pilot study in people living with HIV). When absorbed through the skin the concentration of PNP 7 in the lungs and throat is not quite as high(Laboratory studies and test on people taking PNP 7). It is possible to mix the methods of taking PNP 7. For example the night time use can be taken orally and the day time use through the skin. Independent tests have shown that the highest concentration of ingredients is concentrated in the lymphatic system where the majority of HIV infection resides(Laboratory studies, published data and empirical evidence). Significant amounts of PNP 7 are capable of crossing into the brain(Laboratory studies, empirical evidence and published data) (See Dementia).
There are no known contraindications for HIV or AIDS related medications.
PNP 7 was developed prior to any antiviral agents being approved for HIV/AIDS. It is recommended that persons living with HIV/AIDS consider the use of approved drugs however where drug resistance or side effects are a problem we believe PNP 7 can offer benefits
. In short PNP 7 provides a greatly improved quality of life for people living at all stages of HIV.
